Information
This sweater is perfect over a dress, a jumpsuit, or a white button-down shirt. Or simply styled with a camisole and jeans. It features a cropped body that is slightly longer in the back, shaped raglan increases, and optional sleeve length. It has a lace pattern on the front of the body, as well as a unique ribbing and bind-off.
Knit it using one strand of fingering yarn and one strand of fluffy lace-weight yarn held together. Alternatively, knit it using two strands of Silk Mohair held together. When working with large needles and thin yarn, it is important that at least one of the strands is fluffy so that the stitches puff up and fill out. A smooth supplementary thread, such as Angel Silver Lace, will not yield a good result.
The advantage of using thin yarn on large needles is that the sweater becomes incredibly lightweight with a beautiful drape. It is not heavy to knit on large needles when the yarn is thin, and you will use very little yarn!
