This Privacy Policy applies to all business processes of Hettestrikk AS, hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller.

This policy provides information about the processing of personal data carried out by the Data Controller and defines the purposes and means of such processing, as well as the processing we perform on behalf of our customers based on their instructions.

The processing of personal data is necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations and provide services to you as a customer. Personal data may also be used for the following purposes: sales, customer service, marketing, information distribution, and accounting.

For marketing via email or SMS, explicit consent is obtained in advance.

By providing us with your personal information, you agree to the practices and terms described in this Privacy Policy.

If you have any objections regarding our processing of personal data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Information We Collect

Information may be registered and stored when you register on www.hettestrikk.no, when you contact our sales or support teams via email or chat, or when you use our services.

Where We Store Your Information and With Whom We Share It

Our e-commerce platform is provided by Mystore.no AS, and data is stored in their cloud services hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland.

Third-Party Service Providers

The Data Controller also uses services provided by third parties. Below is an overview of subcontractors with whom information may be stored.

Vipps

If you pay with Vipps in our online store (or physical store), your phone number will be sent to Vipps for identification purposes.

Klarna

If you pay with Klarna in our online store, personal information such as your email address, name, address, and national identification number may be shared with Klarna for credit assessment purposes.

Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)

Google Workspace is used for handling email and documents (Google Drive). Information stored in these systems, including email correspondence and documents, may be processed by Google.

Zendesk

Zendesk is our system for handling email and chat correspondence. All incoming and outgoing emails, as well as chat conversations, are stored in Zendesk.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used for traffic analysis. IP addresses and visitor behavior data are stored.

Mystore Datakasse

We use Mystore Datakasse as the point-of-sale system in our physical store. Information related to your order is stored in Mystore Datakasse.

Adyen

If you pay with Visa or Mastercard in our physical store, payment information such as card details is transmitted to Adyen for payment processing.

Logistra

Logistra is our EDI service provider. When you shop in our online store, information such as your name, phone number, and address is shared with Logistra for the creation of shipping labels and transport documentation.

Bring

We ship packages with Bring and therefore share shipping-related information such as your name, phone number, and address.

PostNord

We ship packages with PostNord and therefore share shipping-related information such as your name, phone number, and address.

Crall.io

Crall.io is our system for handling chat correspondence, abandoned cart functionality, birthday greetings, and visitor behavior tracking.

Crall.io is also used to send order confirmations and emails. Therefore, your email address, name, address, and information related to your order confirmation are shared with Crall.io.

Technology from Crall.io is also used to generate product recommendations. These recommendations are based on visitor behavior and order history, which may be stored for up to one year.

Communication via Email and SMS

As a customer, you may receive emails and SMS messages related to your customer relationship with us. For example, we may send communications regarding orders you have placed, shipment tracking information, password resets, information about your customer account, and similar matters.

These communications are considered a legitimate interest and do not require separate consent.

We also use email for marketing and communication purposes. As a customer of the Data Controller, you may periodically receive newsletters, provided that you have actively consented to receive them.

You may unsubscribe from newsletters at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the emails.

Access and Correction

You have the right to access the personal data we have registered about you. Requests for access can be submitted by contacting elisabeth@hettestrikk.no.

If the information we hold is incorrect or incomplete, you may request that it be corrected in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

Data Retention and Deletion

Information that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected will be deleted from our systems.
